Null is a wife, mother and grandmother. And Millie Null, a Glasgow
resident, is an inventor.
Several
years ago, Millie invented a rearview mirror for forklifts. Now she
has invented a household tool while capable of performing many tasks, may
make its name as the easiest way ever to hang a picture straight.
Null's
inventions are marketed as "E-Z Way Product" and her latest is called "1st
Mark". The tool, manufactured at a plant in the area, is made of
plastic and makes hanging a picture a snap. The tool locates the
hanger bracket for the picture, marks the spot for the nail and makes sure
the picture, clock, sconces, curtain rod or whatever, is hanging straight.
The tool can also be used for installing shelf paper, laying floor tile,
setting hinges and drawer pulls and for a number of other simple household
chores.
Null formally
introduced the product at a news conference this week. The device
is currently being sold at the Four Seasons Antique and Gift Shop on 31-E
South in Glasgow. |
